For volunteer rec-league organizers

Registration, schedules and standings — without the spreadsheet-version panic.

Built for the volunteer running an adult rec league on weeknights: a registration-and-payment page you share once, an auto-generated round-robin schedule, and public standings players check themselves instead of texting you.

Sound familiar?

““Which spreadsheet is current?” is the canonical failure of volunteer league management.”— league-ops consensus
“Slow registration updates, lack of support, families forced into multiple apps, high fees.”— SportsEngine/TeamSnap user complaints
“The add-on fees and transaction costs make it impossible to estimate total cost.”— league organizer review

Incumbent platforms are priced and designed for big clubs with paid staff. Volunteer commissioners are doing this at 11pm after work — they need three screens, not thirty.

What League HQ does

  • One shareable registration page

Players register and pay in one step (Stripe). Rosters fill themselves; you watch the count go up.

  • Auto round-robin scheduling

Teams, courts/fields, blackout dates in — balanced schedule out. Reshuffle a rainout without breaking the rest.

  • Public schedule & standings

A live page players bookmark. Scores in, standings update. Your inbox stops being the league’s database.

  • Roster messaging

Email or text the whole league or one division: “fields are closed tonight” reaches everyone in 20 seconds.

  • Season-based pricing

Pay while your league runs, pause when it doesn’t. No annual platform contract for a 10-week season.

Honest pricing, decided up front

$29per month, per league — only during your season

Waitlist members can reserve founder pricing: $19/mo — locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. That's $10/mo off, forever, for backing this before it exists.

No card required to reserve. No per-seat surprises later. If League HQ doesn't launch, you've spent nothing and you'll get a straight answer about why.

Who's building this?

I'm Aaron — a solo developer. I found thread after thread of people describing this exact problem, and I'd rather prove demand honestly (this page) than build in a vacuum. Toolshed Software's whole model: small tools, flat prices, no per-seat games, no venture pressure to raise prices on you later.

Fair questions

Is this a real product?
It's in active development. This waitlist decides what ships first — enough interest and League HQ gets finished and launched; not enough and I'll email you an honest "it's not happening" instead of pretending. Your signup is the vote.
What will it cost at launch?
$29 per month, per league — only during your season — the price is on this page because hiding pricing until launch is how you end up with HoneyBook math. Founder reservations keep $19/mo for life.
What happens to my email?
It sits in a database with a timestamp and where you came from. You'll get at most a handful of progress emails and one launch email. No sharing, no selling, one-click unsubscribe.
